Kidderminster Footwear is the main trading arm of a family-run business founded by a Northampton shoe craftsman in 1865. He started trading as a shoemaker with just one small premises in Kidderminster. During the years the business has evolved through the generations to become one of the largest footwear importers and distributors in the United Kingdom and Europe.

In 1982 they purchased their headquarters site of 4½ acres in Kidderminster town centre.

In 1986 Kidderminster Footwear moved into direct import and export world-wide and now counts many major companies in the UK and overseas among its customers.

In 1990 Kidderminster Footwear acquired Wilfords Shoes, a Leicester distributor, whose management have developed into a successful specialist importer of ladies fashion footwear based at Whetstone, Leicester.

Then in 1996 the assets of Jen Shoes Ltd at Stafford were acquired including their 80,000 sq ft warehouse which is now used as an extra storage and despatch facility in conjunction with their main warehouse and head office operations of 180,000 square feet at Kidderminster.

There are currently 10 direct descendants of the founder working in the business representing the 3rd, 4th and 5th generations!
